Professional Snowboarder, 2014 Sochi Olympic Bronze Medalist in Snowboard Cross
Alex 's story is one of inspiration and making dreams come true. He is a true example that hard work always pays off. Prior to his
Bronze Medal win in Snowboard Cross in the Sochi Olympics, he did not win many World Cup or X Games Medals (making 4th
place in 2012 X Games) and wasn't part of the US American A-Team (professional athletes that receive sponsorship the most in
Snowboarding). He started snowboarding at the age of 4 years old and although he did not participate in the 2010 Vancouver
Olympics, he was a wax technician supporting the US Team. With hard work and many long hours, he was able to secure his spot
for the Sochi Olympics. He was the only American to make it to the finals of Snowboard Cross.
