Cure acne with natural home remedies

  1. 1.  Acne is a common skin problem that affects people of all ages.  Teenagers suffer the most from acne because of the increased hormone levels in their body
  2. 2.   Mix together two tablespoons baking soda, one teaspoon cinnamon powder, the juice of half a lemon, and five tablespoons honey. Apply it on your face and wash after 5 minutes. You can also apply a paste of one or two teaspoons of baking soda and a little water. Again, rinse it off after five minutes. Use it once or twice a week.
  3. 3.  Mix one teaspoon of honey and the juice of half a lemon in a cup of cooked oatmeal.  Rub this mixture over your skin.  Leave for 30 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  4. 4.  Mix equal proportions of Fuller’s earth (multani mitti), rose water, and sandalwood powder.  Apply this mud pack to your face.  Wash after it dries up.
  5. 5.  Rub a slice of lemon on the affected area and leave it for a few hours before rinsing your face with water.  You can also mix lemon juice with rose water in equal amounts and use the solution to wash the affected area thoroughly.
  6. 6.  Apply a small amount of toothpaste on the affected area before going to bed.  The toothpaste will reduce the swelling and dry out the acne.  Within a day or two, you should see significant improvement.
  7. 7.  Tea tree oil acts like an antiseptic and this can help remove damaged skin cells by slightly irritating the skin.  Just apply one drop of tree tea oil to the affected area three times a day.
  8. 8.  Put orange peel in the sun and let it completely dry out.  Grind the dried peel into a powder and add water to make a paste.  Apply the paste to the affected area and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with warm water.
  9. 9.  Aloe vera juice is also helpful in healing the scars caused by acne.  Apply the aloe vera juice to the affected area twice daily.
  10. 10.    Mix fresh fenugreek leaves with water to make a smooth paste. Apply the herbal paste on the affected area and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with warm water. Repeat the process for three to four days to allow the acne to heal.
  11. 11.  Indian lilac, also known as neem.  Make a paste of tender Indian lilac leaves by adding a little water.  Add some turmeric powder to the paste and then apply it on the affected area.
  12. 12.  If you cannot successfully treat your acne with these home remedies, you should consult a doctor.
