  4. 4. Business LettersBusiness letters are written between an organization and a customer or between two organizations. They serve the purpose of proposing a business transaction, accepting an offer, extending an apology in business, inviting for a professional event, etc. They follow a specific format and use formal language.4 Sohail Ahmed

  9. 9. Full Block Letters All sections within the letter are aligned to the left. The paragraphs too are not indented. All sentences start from the margin of the letter.9 Sohail Ahmed
  10. 10. Semi-Block Letters Similar to the block form, all sections are aligned to the left. But the paragraphs have an indentation. Every paragraph in the main body of the letter has equal spacing before it starts.10 Sohail Ahmed
  11. 11. Personal LettersPersonal letters are written to friends, family members, and relatives. They can be formatted differently and written in casual style of language. They do not follow any specific guidelines and are subjective in nature. These letters are written to give best wishes, inquire about someone, to inform about an incident, etc.11 Sohail Ahmed
  12. 12. ADVICE The great thing is that there are many such formats and templates today.You can download them from various websites and use them as a basis for writing your own letters.12 Sohail Ahmed
