What is a smart phone? • A smart phone is a phone with more advanced computing abilities and includes the following features: - QWERTY keyboard: The keyboard is laid out in the same form as that of a computer keyboard. - Web access: It can access the web at higher speeds. - Operating system: Android  Apple and Window? - Apps: The smart phone software will have the ability to do more.

E ffects on education • Students are too busy on their phones to concentrate in class. • Students invest too much time on social networking than they do in their studies. • It disrupts a students’ study time-table. • It affects students’ English grammar where they start using “chat language” while writing essays and any other school work. • Smart phones can help educators to do their job.
