  4. 4. Bandeja PaisaThe “Bandeja Paisa”(from Medellín Antioquia) is made up of meat, avocado, “chicharron”(Pig’s skin), rice, plantain, egg, “chorizo”(Pig’s meat) and beans.
  5. 5. AjiacoThe Ajiaco is made up of: potato, corn, fried chicken, avocado,rice , basil and capers. Common in Cundinamarca, where Bogotá is.
  6. 6. MazamorraThe “mazamorra” is made up from: habas, corn, potato, beans, carrot and milk. It is very common in Boyacá, a district near Cundinamarca. It is best considered as a drink.
  7. 7. Cocido boyacenseThe “cocido boyacense” is a typical meal from Boyacá. Its ingredients are: kubios, meat, corn, ibias, pork and small potatos.
  8. 8. Coconut riceCoconut rice is a typical food from Barranquilla, Cartagena, Santamarta and all of the caribbean region. How to make coconut rice?With salt, 5 cups of water, a pound of rice and a regular size coconut.
