  1. 1. How to Adjust Volume across Audio Segments in Windows Movie Maker 2 Figure 1 shows six clips that have been dragged into the timeline (3 pictures and 3 videos). For the pictures, voice-overs have been recorded, while each video clip has its own soundtrack. Without adjustment, they are likely to vary widely in volume. Figure 1 Step 1. Open soundtracks for video clips by clicking on the + symbol to the immediate right of Video on the timeline. Figure 2. Step 2. Place mouse cursor within audio clip box, and then right-click mouse.
  2. 2. Figure 3. Step 3. Click on Volume option. Figure 4. Step 4. Adjust slide to desired volume. Then set volume by clicking OK. Repeat steps 2-4 for every audio clip until sound is consistent.
