    Sociology involves studying human social life, groups and societies in a systematic way.
    Sociologists are interested in understanding how society influences us and shapes out lives.

    It will hopefully help you make sense of your experiences in society.

    On Wednesday 15th June 2012 you will take the unit one exam that will last of 1 ½ hours.
    This accounts for half of your GCSE, you will take unit 2 in June 2013.
    Be aware- unit 1 is not easier than unit 2- just different topics.
