      After the last administrative division of Poland Wielkopolska Province ranks second
      in the country in terms of areaand third in terms of population.
      Approximately 25% of the total surface area covered by forests, on lake districts in the northernand central part of region is about 800 lakes, the largest natural reservoir of the Wielkopolska province is Powidzkie Lake (1036 ha). Odra and Warta are the main rivers of the region
      and the capital of Wielkopolska is Poznań.
