Lesser Poland Voivodeship<br />Tatry and Pieniny Mountains<br />Tatry - highest mountain range in the chain of the Western Carpathians.<br />Tatras on the Polish side are divided into:<br />Western Tatras- the highest peak - StarorobociańskiWierch, 2,176 m above sea level <br />High Tatras- the highest peak is the north-west top of the Rysy - 2,499 m above sea-level<br />The Tatras are protected by the establishment in their area of the Tatra National Park<br />Panorama of Tatras from the Long Hal<br />Pieniny - mountain range in southern Poland and northern Slovakia, that is the highest part of a long belt of limestone rocks (PieninyKlippen Belt).<br />Two gorges of Dunajec make the Pieniny are split into 3 parts:<br />Pieniny Spiskie - between of Białka Valley and of gorge of Dunajec near Niedzica<br />Central Pieniny (Pieninyappropriate) - from Niedzica to the Dunajec Canyonbetween<br />the Sromowce Niżne and Szczawnica (in Polish borders). The highest peak - TrzyKorony<br />Small Pieniny- reaching to the valley of Poprad<br />
