  10. 10. /// What’s New? Personal channels: Everyone has their own area to organize files from email or other applications. iPhone/web experience: Jive Present is also available for iPhone and web browsers. Salesforce.com integration: Seamless tying in CRM (beta) means you have more sales team data at your disposal and can get work done faster. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 11May 20, 2014
  11. 11. ///Pages for Places (Beta) Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 12May 20, 2014
  12. 12. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 13 /// Sample Screenshot May 20, 2014
  13. 13. /// What’s New? Pages for Places are the new “Overview” page – it’s now possible to capture other users attention and easily guide them to content. Pages are based on tiles, which has the advantage that they can be developed by you (or your developers) to tap into other applications your businesses already use. What’s more, it’s upgrade-safe because of the clear separation of data and presentation. The feature is currently in beta and will not be enabled by default in the Spring Release, but can instead be activated in the admin console. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 14May 20, 2014
  14. 14. ///Mark as “Reserved” May 20, 2014 Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 15
  15. 15. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 16 /// Sample Screenshot Office May 20, 2014
  16. 16. /// What’s New? In Spring Release you‘ll be able to mark your work as “Reserved” just like you can mark it as “Final” or “Official” today. Reserved documents are the Jive alternative to complex document workflows. It’s simple and stays out of your way – until you need it When a document is reserved, it is not “locked” Reserved documents also cannot be marked as “Final”, “Outdated” or “Official;” doing so will cancel the reservation Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 17May 20, 2014
  17. 17. ///Sharing Content in Private Groups Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 18May 20, 2014
  18. 18. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 19 /// Sample Screenshot May 20, 2014
  19. 19. /// What’s New? There are many times when you want to give access to a piece of content in a private group; however, the member you wish to share it lacks permission. You can now bring in collaborators to work on specific content without granting access to the entire group, while keeping the rest of the content and conversations secure and only sharing specific items. They will only see the content items you decide to share with them. This is especially useful when you need to get expert input from someone outside the project in order to complete a task. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 20
  20. 20. ///Advanced Dropbox Integration Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 21May 20, 2014
  21. 21. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 22 /// Sample Screenshot May 20, 2014
  22. 22. /// What’s New? With an additional purchase of our Jive StreamOnce module, you'll be able to connect a group in Jive to a folder in Dropbox, enhancing the Dropbox file storage system with the collaboration and actions that occur in Jive. Store files in Dropbox while commenting and working on those files in Jive. This will really come in handy when you need to collaborate on files with individuals outside your company, such as a customer or a contractor. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 23May 20, 2014
  23. 23. ///Updated Twitter Integration Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 24May 20, 2014
  24. 24. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 25 /// Sample Screenshot May 20, 2014
  25. 25. /// What’s New? – Templates The Jive StreamOnce module will also have the ability to follow Twitter handles and lists, and further narrow down the results received by using hashtags. This will make it easier to narrow to specific types of Tweets for your community and collaboratively resolve issues customers may tweet about, among other added benefits. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 26May 20, 2014
  26. 26. ///Apps for External Contributors Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 27May 20, 2014
  27. 27. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 28 /// Sample Screenshot May 20, 2014
  28. 28. /// What’s New? •Administrators will be able to grant access to applications in the Jive Apps Market for external contributors. The Apps tab will be hidden if no externally accessible apps are installed. Once an externally accessible app is available, the Apps tab will show just those apps to your external contributors. Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 29May 20, 2014
  29. 29. ///Records Retention Pokeshot///SMZ | Patrick Fähling 30May 20, 2014
  30. 30. /// What’s New? Records Retention, giving you the ability to better track creation of content in Jive for legal and compliance reasons. Records Retention tracks the creation or update of user-generated content within Jive and delivers it to an external archival system. Records Retention is available as a separate module for purchase.
