    • - Internet service
    • - Instant Messaging programs (MSN, etc)
    • - E-mail
    • It affects the fairness of the world
    • What are the main problems?
    • The economic divide, the usability divide and the empowerment divide (Nielsen)
    • Lots of people in developing countries don’t have access to Internet.
    • They are usually left behind as others improve in digital technology.
    • Unicef.
    • One Laptop per Child organization.
    • - Sending digital technology equipments and technology teachers to poor children in China.
    • United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development.
    • Digital Alliance Foundation.
    • - Donate fund for buying digital technology equipments to the developing countries.

    • Put yourselves in groups of 2-3 people.
    • We will display 3 questions for you to discuss.
    • Paper & pencils will be provided for you to write down your thoughts.
    • You have 5 minutes to discuss and write down your answer.
    • At the end of each question, we will discuss your responses.
    • Paper & pencils will be collected at the end of the activity.

    • Teach the children how to use those equipments.
