About Today’s Panel #EnergyChat Jesse Jenkins is an MIT Energy Initiative Energy Fellow and the Community Manager at The Energy Collective, as well as the former Director of Energy and Climate Policy at the Breakthrough Institute. Michel Losier is Program Director of PowerShift Atlantic; a Natural Resources Canada, Clean Energy Fund, project, and the Director of Customer Engagement for Reduce and Shift Demand at New Brunswick Power Corporation. Michel and his team has been working on collaborative and innovative solutions to better integrate renewables such as wind in the Maritimes. Tim Gibson is Vice President of the Smart Grid Division at Siemens Canada, responsible for the daily management, direction and leadership of Siemens’ Smart Grid activities in Canada, including its business units; Smart Grid Services, Energy Automation, and Rail Electrification. He brings together his IT outsourcing experience, knowledge of T&D Service, and background in the utility industry to the position. Bruce Hamilton is founding Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy Development and previously served as Head of Energy Modeling, Databanks and Capacity Building at the International Atomic Energy Agency. Today, Bruce serves as founder and president of Adica LLC, a Chicago-based global energy software and consulting firm, committed to empowering individuals, companies and nations in pursuit of sustainable development.
