Characteristics  They can remember things up to three years ago  Swim 5km per hour  Heaviest raccoon in the wild was 28.4kg  The dark mask reduces glare and enhance night vision  They see much better in dim light  Raccoons tails help keep their balance  Raccoons are related to panda bears
  4. 4. Habitat  Forests, marches, prairies and even cities  Tree hole a fallen log or even houses attics  Woodlands close to streams, lakes,forests and seashores
  5. 5. Food Sources  Crayfish, frogs, and other aquatic animals  On land pluck mice, insects, tasty eggs, fruit plants and garbage  Corn on the cob and vegitables
