1. St Chad's cathedral was a great trip. Chad's coat of arms has two gold strips on it. My tour guide , Mr. McConnell told us that Chad's bones were passed down through many families. Chad’s bones were passed so the soldiers wouldn’t get them. On our tour the tour guide told us a story. The story was this: in world war two a bomb fell through the roof of St. Chad’s it could of burnt down the whole cathedral but as it crashed it hit a radiator and the water from the radiator put the bomb out. This was a lucky incident. My favourite part of St. Chad’s was reading the story from a stain glass window because its amazing how you can get all of the detail into your mind from a picture. It was also my favourite because you can understand the picture without words. The thing I least enjoyed was the crypt because it really smelt of disgusting smells. This trip to St Chad’s has been very good and I would go again. In St Chad’s there is kept his bones himself. They are kept in a gold box which is high up above the alter. I think it is high so it can be with heaven.
