    • On Pentecost the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit.
    • After they became filled with the Holy Spirit they went out to the crowds and told them about the risen Jesus and baptized them.

    • One thing that confirmation does for the catechumen is bring them closer to the God and the church.
  • 7. Important Information
    • To anoint is to apply oil to someone as a sign that God has chosen that person for a special mission.
    • Confirmation deepens the gift of grace we first receive at Baptism .
    • A Sponsor is a catholic who helps prepare a candidate for Confirmation. They have your back.
    • The Holy Spirit came to the apostles at Pentecost.
