Difference between  iPods and MP3 Players iPods <ul><ul><li>Made only by Apple Inc. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Can play AAC (Apple file format), MP3, WAV, and many other music formats </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Most iPods will also play video formats as well </li></ul></ul>MP3 Players <ul><ul><li>Can be made by a variety of manufacturers including: </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Sony, SANYO, Samsung, Zen Creative, SanDisk, And many more! </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Typically can only play MP3 formatted music </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Some MP3 Players will also play video but depends on manufacturer </li></ul></ul>
