What is RefWorks?
A web-based product where you can store bibliographic information. The bibliographic records reside on the web
All bibliographies are formatted in a particular style

Three Ways to Insert Citations for your Bibliography into RefWorks
When exporting citations from databases to RefWorks remember to change the Internet browser settings to allow pop-ups!
Firefox
Go to Tools menu
Select Options
Select Content tab
Uncheck “block pop-up windows” option
Click “OK”
Internet Explorer
Go to Tools menu
Scroll down to “Pop-up blocker” option
Select “Turn off pop-up blocker”
Exporting citations from an EBSCO database
Exporting citations from a Proquest database 1. Mark the record 2. Export the record to RefWorks
Sign In Your group code can be found in the e-mail RefWorks sent when you set up your account GH group code: RWUGuelph Humber group code: RWHumberC
Go to the Folders menu to create a new folder to help organize your references Your reference will automatically be sent to the ‘Last Imported Folder’
You can also edit the reference to add/correct information that was exported to the database Remember to select the reference before moving it into your folder

Download Write-N-Cite onto your computer
Open your Word document and click on Add-Ins tab to access Write-N-Cite
