    • General Agreement: (regardless of the methodology adopted) World Geospatial Forum – Rotterdam- May 2013 www.trilogis.it «it is worth it»
    • CBAsWorld Geospatial Forum – Rotterdam- May 2013 www.trilogis.it (relatively) easy to calculate (very) difficult to assess
    • CBAs assess benefits in economic terms It is difficult enough to assess costs of the repercussions of INSPIRE at EU, national, regional and local level World Geospatial Forum – Rotterdam- May 2013 www.trilogis.it it is virtual impossible to calculate the economic extent of its benefits
    • Then, how much is it all worth it? Tangible opportunities and advantages for SMEs beyond the mere concept of return on investment World Geospatial Forum – Rotterdam- May 2013 www.trilogis.it (Practically?)
    • Don’t monetise GI, maximise impact (Prof Robert Barr)

    • My 2 cents… benefits are extremely difficult to assess in economical terms, yet these will profoundly improve PAs creating a positive feedback mechanism that will produce further significant benefits for SMEs in the future beyond and independently from INSPIRE. A final note…
