  • 1.
  • 2. Natural Artesian Water from the island of Sardinia, Italy Acqua Smeraldina natural artesian water is a unique bottled water coming from the beautiful and pristine island of Sardinia, Italy. The remote island of Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, and it is considered to be one of the environmentally cleanest areas in Europe.
  • 3. The island of Sardinia Rugged, isolated, and untamed, Sardinia is perhaps the most mystical and beautiful island in the Mediterranean. Its jagged coastline and granite-mountain highlands also offer some of the most pristine scenery in all of Europe. Sardinia is home to unspoiled beaches and emerald waters, such as stunning Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast), with glamorous hotels, villas, and marinas developed by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, which has become the playground of the rich and famous. Costa Smeralda is located about 30 miles from the source of Smeraldina water. Due to the fact that it is a sparsely populated island with very little industry and no intensive agriculture, Sardinia has remained one of the cleanest environment in Europe.
  • 4. The “Mountain of God” Smeraldina pure artesian water comes from an underground aquifer 1000 feet under the Mountain of God (Monte di Deu), part of the large granite rock formation of Mount Limbara located in the north-east region of the island. For hundreds of years the region has been known for the freshness and purity of its waters.
  • 5. The Company Smeraldina has been in business for over 20 years thanks to the vision and hard work of Giovanni Maria Solinas, who has transmitted his passion on this product and his focus on quality to his five sons, who are today managing the company. Smeraldina remains a privately owned company that employs state of the art technology to preserve the quality of its water and to deliver a unique product in a stylish package that can satisfy the most demanding customers in foodservice and retail channels. As a demonstration to its commitment to quality and environmental protection, Smeraldina is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Kosher. Its research lab performs over 100 tests every day to assure that the water and the materials used are always conforming to its high standards.
  • 6. Product line GLASS LINE Smeraldina glass bottles come in 4 sizes, both still and sparkling, and have a unique and very sophisticated design. PLASTIC LINE (PET) The four formats of Smeraldina natural artesian water comes in a distinguished emerald plastic green bottle that reflects the superior quality and attention to detail that makes Smeraldina one of the world’s premium bottled waters.
  • 7. The purity of Smeraldina
    • Smeraldina water is extracted deep under an ancient granite rock formation in the Gallura region of Sardinia.
    • Granite rock allows rain water to slowly descend through its micro-fractures. Rain water starts its slow process of natural filtration as it goes down through the granite rock.
    • Granite natural filtration system is what makes Smeraldina such a unique, clean and light mineral water.
    • It takes hundreds of years for rain water to reach the depth from where it is extracted from and, during this time, granite, which is a very hard rock, clears the water of impurities but does not release any sediment.
    • Smeraldina water is bottled directly as it comes from the underground aquifer approximately 1000 feet under the Mountain of God.
  • 8. Smeraldina Natural Artesian water from the Blue Zone ™ of Sardinia, Italy Smeraldina water comes from the Italian island of Sardinia, considered a “Blue Zone” ™ because of the exceptional number of residents who live active lives past the age of 100.
