Branding is a key element of an albums success, through music promos, album covers, TV appearances, radio one sessions, gigs. All of this media coverage helps to make an album a success. The branding of the band needs to be expressed through there album so it attracts the right target audience.

It was first issued on the 26th September, 1969 and was the final Beatles album to be recorded but not their last to be released. Abbey Road entered the UK charts at number one, it stayed there 17 if its 81 weeks in the charts. Beatles genre would be decribes as ‘Rock and Roll’.
