What Is Negative Ion ( A N I O N) 1

  1. 1. Winalite Quezon City What is Negative Ion?
  2. 2.  Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules that we inhale in abundance in certainWinalite Quezon City environments. Think mountains, waterfalls, and beaches. Once they reach our bloodstream, negative ions are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood chemical serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress, and boost our daytime energy.
  3. 3. Winalite Quezon City Technically speaking: "Ions are charged particles in the air that are formed in nature when enough energy acts upon a molecule such as carbon dioxide, oxygen, water, or nitrogen to eject an electron from the molecule leaving a positively charged Ion. The displaced electron attaches itself to a nearby molecule, which then becomes a negatively charged Ion. It is the negative ion of oxygen that affects us the most."
  4. 4. But why in the world are they called NEGATIVE ions?Winalite Quezon City After all, Negative ions can have a positive effect on people. But positive ions can have a negative effect on people. Furthermore, An atom that has one of its normal orbiting electrons removed is called a positive ion. (Doesnt "positive" imply that something has been added?) But an atom that has an extra electron added is called a negative ion. (Doesnt "negative" imply that something has been removed?) So you see, its really kind of backwards; the terms Negative and Positive are actually reversed, in this context. Its a misnomer that we can blame on Benjamin Franklin (so we hear) who lived in the 1700s. Back in his time, electrons (with a "negative" charge) and atoms were not understood correctly. But the word negative is still being used this way; to this day, an atom with an extra electron is still called a negative ion. So, were all still stuck with this 18th century terminology, and thats why theyre called "negative ions".

  8. 8. What are Anions?Winalite Quezon City  Anions are negative ions.  Scientists and researchers call negative ions in different ways: 1. “Negative Air Electricity” 2. “Cleansing Agents” 3. “Vitamins of the Air” 4. “MOTHER NATURE’S BROOM” 5. “Chemical Scavengers of the Atmosphere”

  18. 18. Winalite Quezon City Negative Ions Promotes GOOD HEALTH through eliminating TOXINS (Ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, phenol) in the intestines with normal defecation of bodily waste. The accumulation of these toxins can cause arteriosclerosis, hypertension, aching in the waist and back, cancer, and so on.
