users, which is a substantial fraction of today’s market. This third issue contains valuable and updated information on Smarcos work-packages (WP) progress and latest results.
This newsletter edition covers also main dissemination activities with special focus on Smarcos social networks. The Latest Events section contains interesting links towards Smarcos new promotion material produced during the last six months of project development.

The context descriptions address relevant information, such as physical environment, social environment, user(s), and device(s). In general, the considered models can be exploited at design time to ease the process to obtain multiple versions of an application for various target platforms or at run-time to support context-dependent adaptation and user interface migration, when necessary. WP3: Tools for Runtime UI & Context The first version of the project Design Composition Guideline document (D1.4), which includes Currently WP3 is developing SW-tools for clear and precise procedures to design composing user interfaces at a run-time for interusable UIs for smart and complex system both, distributed and collaborative environments, is now completed. operations. It combines context interusable tasks and abstract interfaces, data effectively with information on UIs and which provide compact general descriptions, tasks at a runtime, providing context and can then be refined for describing information to relevant components.
