  • Our main platform for all alumni communication is UDconnection.com.It is important to us because it’s the only tool available that allows our alumni to provide us with updated contact information.
  • While we are certainly interested in providing you with alumni lists, we are also interested in protecting the info and data of our alumni.This is why we require you to sign a confidentiality agreement before we can provide you with lists.It’s not as much a legal thing as it is making sure that we all understand the responsibility of making sure that data is kept secure and not misused.
  • We can supply you with approved images/logos for club materials so long as they meet the University’s rules regarding usage restrictions.In order to be consistent with the newspapers and magazines you read every day and to match the University of Delaware’s standard style, here are some common examples of the style requirements.When I get to the section on social media – I’ll explain two exceptions to these rules, there are only 2.
  • Use your page username, for example, Facebook.com/udalumni, acts just like a custom website, for a lot less money5+ interactions lands the post into Top NewsTag restaurants, companies, people, University of Delaware pages, it posts the post on their page too – double dutyPost at 8 a.m., 12 noon, and 5 p.m. = rush hourGreat source for pictures online is Google Images, make sure you’re using most current logo or current photo, nothing outdatedAlways link back to UDconnection.com for registration, we always want alumni to register online, even if the event is freeExceptions to the earlier brand style – Hashtags and our website (udel.edu), the University of Dayton already grabbed all things “UD.”
