That is right. Allison Macfarlane, head of the NRC, oversees nearly a hundred cooling pools at nuclear reactors. Simply switch off the electricity so the pumps don't run (a solar flare can do that quite easily) and those cooling pools all heat up, explode, and each sends more radiation into the atmosphere than all previous nuclear tests. Cooling pools are perfect doomsday machines waiting like little raptors testing the strength of their cage each and every day until just one mistake occurs.

  • 2. But no. Human beings can't wait to destroy themselves with their insane greed--In case no one has noticed, fracking creates earthquakes. It is a no brainer. So don't frack within a thousand miles of Yellowstone National Park. It has a super volcano also waiting to go off-- nature's natural doomsday machine. Bottom right in the above picture--fracking at Pinesdale, Wyoming which is less than two hundred miles from Yellowstone. Is that neat or what?
  • 3. A super volcano. Something Homo sapiens has never seen.
