Using key words in a sentence

  1. 1. Using key words in a sentence. The aliens in District 9 are segregated from the humans. The aliens in District 9 are not allowed to assimilate with humans. District 9 can be seen as an allegory for racial division. A theme of xenophobia runs throughout the film. A social hierarchy exists within the film world where humans, particularly the MNU are dominant and possess and control over those they feel are subordinate. The comfortable lives of humans are juxtaposed with the dystopian landscape in which the aliens must try to survive in harsh living conditions.
