  • SOCIAL MEDIA INVADES FASHION WEEK  Instagram – Designers saw more than a 500% increase in followers during NYFW – Mara Hoffman had the biggest increase (807%)  Pinterest – Peter Som jumped from 1.2 to 1.6 million by the end of NYFW – Zac Posen had the largest percentage increase (21%)  Facebook – Most designers saw an increase of less than 5% in fans – Zac Posen, Nicholas K, and Jill Stuart all began with less than 10,000 fans and saw the largest growth (9-18%)  Twitter – Rebecca Minkoff gained nearly 40,000 Twitter followers (47% increase) – She showcases her designs and her personal life17
