  • 2. Count von Count was introduced on Sesame Street in the 1970’s.
    Maybe our fascination with vampires started back when we were children.
  • 3. Dracula
    1897
    featuring one of the first well-known vampires Count Dracula.
  • 4. Nosferatu , 1922- an unlicensed version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula -was based so closely on the novel that the estate sued and won.
  • 5. From Dusk Till Dawn - A controversial film, written by Quentin Tarantino in 1996, where bank robbers turn into vampires.
  • 6. Interview with the Vampire-1994
    Based on the novel by Anne Rice written in 1973
  • 7. Buffy the Vampire Slayer started out as a film in 1992, but soon after turned into a franchise name of books, comics, TV series, video games, etc.
  • 8. Blade is a 1998 vampire action film. The movie is loosely based on the published stories of the fictional Marvel Comics character Blade.
