BusinessModel<br />Problems:(1) The lack of affordable and easy to understand avenues for publishing for those in academia, (2)the encouragement by academia to publish with an eye toward accreditation, and (3)the need to publish beyond the ‘book on demand’ or ‘self publishing methods’ to include a peer review component for higher quality<br />Purpose:To create a aggregate publishing solution to publish scholarly materials<br />Goal: To publish an anthology of the works of multiple academic doctoral and faculty authors within one book with multiple promotional opportunities built into the model<br />Objective:To publish multiple editions bi-annually: Spring (April ) and Fall (October )<br />©2010 Dr. Cheryl Lentz<br />

Business Plan <br />Three prong promotional strategy <br />Individual use for self promotion <br />Aggregate use for group promotion <br />Each person can expect the promotional efforts of all featured authors, as opposed to just themselves<br />Publisher to promote (1)the writings of individual authors; (2) the book as a directory to be sent to meeting planners, speakers’ bureaus and convention centers, libraries, organizations, as a reference guide for speaking events and consulting opportunities; (3) individual e-chapter website sales on the companion website; and (4) promote the overall concept<br />©2010 Dr. Cheryl Lentz<br />
