Scene 1
TJ-san is talking at the park with his girlfriend, and unbeknownst to him, a thief is stealing his wallet.

Scene 2
TJ-san notices that his wallet is missing, and searches frantically for it.

Scene 3
TJ-san is very upset, and his girlfriend makes suggestions about what he should do – he could call the police or the bank.

Scene 4
TJ-san goes to the police box, where the officer asks him what time the wallet was stolen and what he was doing.
TJ-san explains that it was 9 o’clock and he was with his girlfriend.

Scene 1 Conversation
TJ-san: 何はテレビが好きですか ?
(watashi wa terebi ga suki desu ka?)
(What TV show do you like to watch?)
Girlfriend: 　Ｆｉｒｅｆｌｙが好きです。
(Firefly ga suki desu.)
(I like Firefly.)
TJ-san: 　私も。
(watashi mo.)
(Me too.)
Ｔｈｉｅｆ：　私はこの男（おとこ）のさいふをぬすみます。
(watashi wa kono otoko no saifu wo mesumimasu.)
(I will steal this man’s wallet.)

TJ-san: 私のさいふどこですか？
(watashi no saifu doko desu ka?)
(Where is my wallet?)
Girlfriend: うそ！
（ uso!)
(Oh no!)

TJ-san: いいえ！いいえ！なぜ私ですか？
(Iie! Iie! Naze watashi desu ka?)
(No! No! Why me?)
Girlfriend: けいかんとぎんこうはでんわをかけます。
(Keikan to ginkou wa denwa o kakemasu.)
(You should call the police and the bank.)

TJ-san: すみません。だれかが私のさついれをめすまれました。
(sumimasen. dareka ga watashi no satsuire wo mesumaremashita.)
(Excuse me. Someone stole my wallet.)
Policeman: おおよそ何時にあなたのさついれをめすまれましたか？だれといっしょにでしたか？
(ooyoso nanji ni anata no satsuire wo mesumaremashita ka? 　 dare to issho ni deshita ka?)
(About what time was your wallet stolen? Who were you with?)
TJ-san: おおよそくじにめすみました。ガールフレンドとこうえにでした。
(ooyoso kuji ni mesumaremashita. gaarufurendo to kouen ni deshita.)
(It was stolen around 9:00. I was with my girlfriend in the park.)
Policeman: 私はそれをしらべます。
(watashi wa sore wo shirabemasu.)
(I will probe into the matter.)
TJ-san: 　ありがとうございます。
(arigatou gozaimasu.)
(Thank you.)
