But, itreally is something that was going to happen anyway.When our country changed from a farming economy at the start of the 20th century, themanufacturing economy gave us our jobs. It also helped build our big middle class.The middle class made possible the huge service economy, the plumbers, electricians,landscapers, daycare providers, and such. They also helped finance our big government workerclass.The manufacturing jobs will not be coming back unless we are willing to work for 3rd world wages.The service jobs are under a strain without the support they were getting from the people thatwere working in those factories.Where do we go from here? We need something entirely new for the 21st century. If you cant geta decent job, there is only one place left to go. That place will be your home. Yes, you will workfrom home. This will be the wave of the future for anyone interested in being self employed.Working from home is nothing new, farmers were doing it for quite some time.Those with new ideas and some good business planning can do very well in this new economy.There is no limit to what you have access to with a computer and a little start up capital. The wholeworld is as close as your keyboard. It was never easier to start a business. You probably have acomputer and a house to work out of, so you just need the product.Think of the possibilities. If you can send a cheesecake through the mail, you can do just aboutanything. It just takes a little thinking on your part about what you would like to see available andstart providing it for others. Even if you take something that is already on the market, just present itin a new way.I personally would like to see someone come up with a good tool for putting on my socks. My soreback makes this very difficult for me. Im sure that many people have the same problem. There arethousands of ideas out there just waiting for the right person to come along and use them and starta profitable home based business.Dont wait for the government to fix the economy, it will not happen. Take charge of your ownwelfare.
