  • Two masses are pulling together but if they are not large it’s not a strong enough pull to pull them together. Newton figured out why the moon doesn’t crash into the earth, he figured that the moon is spinning so fast that it doesn’t crash into the earth. For example if you had a bucket full of water and you were spinning it around your head fast enough the water won’t spill.
  • Without Newton’s understanding of the gravitational pull we wouldn’t know how to make rockets with enough power to get out of the earths atmosphere.

  • 1. • Isaac newton was born on January, 4, 1643 at Woolsthorpe.• He was a mathematician and a physicist.• He went to Cambridge university in 1661.• He was elected a fellow of trinity college.• Isaac was also elected lucasian professor for mathematics in 1669.
  • 2. • He discovered the gravitational pull and how objects with bigger mass fall faster than objects with smaller mass.• Isaac also discovered the three universal laws of motion.• He figured out refraction, momentum and angular momentum.• Isaac newton was a co-creator of calculus along with Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz.• He investigated heat and discovered the great law of cooling.• Isaac also invented the first functioning telescope.
