Scrum, V Model and RUP Models Overview

  1. 1. SPRINT CYCLE
  2. 2. Rational Unified Process It is a Software Engineering approach to the Agile Model requiring Sign Off. RUP is Three Dimensional. At any given time I have to think about the phase and the discipline that is being affected.
  3. 3. Would you like to pick up Waterfall or Sprint given a chance? Why? Project Sponsor = Has money but dumb but has authority. If a business would like to see an incremental product development = Scrum Hold off until the whole product is made during the Product Life Cycle = Waterfall Waterfall permits change requests; Recommend scrum when the requirements are unclear and the requirements are evolving. What are the elements in a user story?
  4. 4. Break down a user story to a level where we can assign points to it. Who requested and what are the priorities.
