Mission Statement Epps Island Elementary is committed to the belief that every student can achieve excellence regardless of ethnicities or socioeconomic background and that each student will develop intellectually, physically, and socially to become productive members of the community and global citizens of the 21st century world.

  7. 7. <ul><li>Provide training for classroom teachers of administrative use of TEACHSCAPE and how the data can improve student achievement and improve the quality of teaching that students receive </li></ul><ul><li>Provide eInstruction training to all new teachers and eInstruction refreshers for returning classroom teachers enabling them to provide an interactive learning environment for their students </li></ul><ul><li>Provide Starboard training to all new teachers and Starboard refreshers for returning classroom teachers </li></ul>

Other staff developments are part of our district based technology improvement plan which include: <ul><ul><li>Ongoing technology based staff development will occur monthly with various topics for integrating technology based instruction within curriculum. Patty Low, our District Instructional Technology Instructor will be responsible for those monthly meetings. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Teachers are expected to participate in ongoing district based technology training to become Target Tech. </li></ul></ul>
