Students at Meadowview Elementary in Farmington Minnesota collected pledges to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy through a "Reading for Relief" program. A total of $5015.80 was collected and presented to the American Red Cross on Friday, December 7.

  2. 2. The entire Meadowview Student body was on hand for the checkpresentation. They also learned more about hurricanes and how their dontations will be used by the American Red Cross.
  3. 3. Principal Edwards presented the check on behalf of the effort to Kristen Peters of the American Red Cross.
  4. 4. Third Grade Teacher Kay Hallstrom and her students shown along with Kristen Peters and Principal Edwards. Hallstrom was a key organizer for the effort.
