    • The Sermon on the Mount
      • LO: What does the Sermon on the Mount teach about judgement?
    • Christians should not judge other people.
    • If Christians judge someone they must expect to be judged in the same way.
    • Christians should judge themselves before they look at other people.
    • Instead of judging the small things that other people do wrong, Christians should be trying to make themselves perfect.
    • Why is this teaching on judgement important? judging others is wrong Christians should put themselves right before they criticise others love of neighbour means accepting people as they are and not judging them
    • Jesus teaches that judging others is wrong. Christians should judge themselves first and try to make themselves perfect before they judge others.
    • a) What does judgement mean? (2) b) Outline the teaching in the Sermon on the Mount about judgement. (6) c) Explain how Christians may use the Sermon on the Mount as a guide to life.
