Glad to hear I could be of help! This is based on the old spec, but it’s mostly just the (b) questions and the mark scheme that have changed as far as I can see. We have decided to do unit 3 (old C) with both Years 10 and 11 this year, with the thought of doing Mark’s Gospel next year. I have more examples etc on my blog at www.stmregcse.edublogs.org - also links to studystack.com key words websites for units J, C and 3.

I have just added a powerpoint version of this slideshare. Hopefully it will be easier to download! http://www.slideshare.net/skambalu/j1-revision-slides There are some mistakes because of the export, so it is better to view directly from here if on the internet. Of course, if you are downloading, you should be able to change the mistakes.

This is a Mac keynote presentation. I will need to export it to a ppt presentation first! That is probably what the difficulty is.

Connor, and all others, I now have Units J1, J2, J3 and J4 as slideshows. You can find them by looking through my slidespace. Hope they help! Remember, tomorrow, have a good night’s sleep, eat a good breakfast, and relax during the exam. Good luck everyone! Hope these help some of you a little bit.

Connor, following my earlier comments, I managed to complete the second unit: http://www.slideshare.net/skambalu/j2-revision-slides Hope that helps!

Connor, I have been trying to work on the J2 slideshare but unfortunately with all the other things I have had to do (eg preparing a scheme of work for other teachers to follow over the next two weeks, and helping my A Level students with their revision as well) I have not managed to complete it. There are other slideshares for J4, which you can find if you search the 'More by User' section, but they are in a different style to this one. Sorry that I can’t be more helpful! But do go through your notes, and try to find four points that you can make for each topic. (You could even make them into a powerpoint and share them with us here - as you can see, there is definitely a need and an audience for that!)

I’m glad to hear that this slideshare is proving useful for some of you (I wish my own students would have a look at it!!).

Guest0784e2: Show this to your teacher, and they will be able to tell you if it is the right topic or not. Edexcel will no doubt have other Religious Studies exams on on the 18th May so it is obviously important to know if this is the correct topic for you. This is for Unit J, Catholic Christianity (it will share many points with Christianity, but there is an emphasis on the Catechism of the Catholic Church in this unit). Whichever topic you are doing, it will be useful to remember to PEE (Point, Evidence, Explanation) 4 times for the (c) Explain questions.

Good luck to all of you - I hope the revision is going well and that the exam will be straightforward for you! (Remember to watch your timing - about 1 minute per mark!)
