  • 1. HARBOUR PASSAGE
  • 2. PURPOSE As Canada’s oldest incorporated City, Saint John is steeped in history; however, it is equally a City of the future. To build on the momentum waterfront development has created SJWD needs to lead this transformation toward key iconic waterfront space, an urban core which can be perfectly balanced with culture, nature, heritage and commerce. As the city moves forward, it is important that Saint John’s primary attributes be retained: its physical and architectural beauty, credited in large part to the City’s most significant physical attributes – the Saint John Harbour, its well-proportioned rich architectural heritage, the high quality of life its residents enjoy and its dynamic economy.
