NZ is a highly socially innovative country, with a range of vehicles to support innovation starting to be developed
Our key challenges are around
Prioritising and focusing innovation
Moving beyond pilots to sustainability & scale
Learning and reflection around substance and process
As yet, there is no shared framework and language around social innovation, and little sharing of knowledge

A NEW ZEALAND SOCIAL INNOVATION “CATALYST”
To support and stimulate social innovation in NZ by
Creating a platform for individuals & organisations to share, learn & collaborate ( platform role )
Developing & promoting, in conjunction with others, new vehicles & mechanisms to support innovation ( development role )
That NZ is a country which consistently creates and grows new solutions to its most pressing social needs , drawing on the resources of all its people Mission Vision

Website providing tools for exchange, sharing and learning (eg forums, directories, classifieds, event lists, links) – co-developed with ASIX, linked to SIX
