    •  Existing recruitment is not able to meet the demand of officers The recruitment is more focused on officers As a result of 6th pay commission willingness to join Indian army is high amongst youth. All the channels of promotion are in place already No financial constraints in terms of meeting expenses of recruitment Recruitment goes throughout the year
    •  Owned by central Govt. Budget allocation is made by govt. of India All the policies are centrally developed and are uniform throughout the country Large population of country provides huge pool of potential candidates Infrastructure in terms of supporting/ ancillary orgn. (NCC, NDA,IMA,OTA,SSB) is in place.
