    Yes, we realize that. The curriculum for 3rd grade teaches that Columbus discovered the New World. I’m sure they’re taking it from the European point of view.

    Christopher Columbus did not find the new world. when he came, there were people allready there. so it wasn’t a new world. only new for him.
