Universal - The mechanisms of editing and organizing are the same as those of writing so that any writer is automatically an editor and organizer. Materials are uploaded under the creative commons (CC) licence.

    • Provides for a hierarchical arrangement of pages
    • Pages can be collected and printed as PDF – you can make your own book!!!
  • 9. Why should India promote Wikieducator?
    • With about 2/3 of the population needing to be educated, f2f mode cannot meet the demands.
    • Access to education should not be a limitation for anyone to study
  • 10. Why wikieducator?
    • Need for India-centric contexual learning materials – particularly in local languages.
    • To tap all diverse knowledge sources
    • If India is to take the eleap to self sufficiency in (contexual) educational content there is need for rapid expansion in development of elearn materials – wikieducator can play a major role.
