115 Respondents completed the survey (by 30 Dec 2008), of whom approximately 1/3 Telecoms Operators, ½ Vendors, remainder Consultants, Media and Finance
Just under ½ Senior Managers or above; 28% CxO / Director level, and the majority had either Global or EMEA interests
Very positive endorsement of the quality and value provided:
77% overall scored the analysis as “Ahead of the game” or “Unique”
This rose to 90% for respondents from Telecoms Operators

Respondent Ratings – Overall
Overall Rating of the quality of Telco 2.0 Analysis was extremely positive, with 77% scoring it either “Ahead of the Game in some areas” or “Unique, and ahead of the field”
Only 3% rated the analysis as “Average” and none rated it “Below par”
While some bias is to be expected in a readership survey, this is nonetheless a very strong endorsement
Respondents’ ratings were overwhelmingly positive.
Respondent Ratings – By type of Organisation
Telecoms Operators were particularly positive, with 90% scoring it either “Ahead of the Game in some areas” or “Unique, and ahead of the field”
For Vendors this was 75%
Respondents from Telecoms Operators were particularly positive.
Respondent Profile – by Organisation Type
There were 115 Respondents
Just over 1/3 were from Telecoms Operators, just under half IT or hardware Vendors, and just under a fifth other players
Over half of the “other” respondents were from Consultancy organisations, with Media & Finance players contributing the remainder
There was a good mix of respondents by Organisation type.
Respondent Profile – By Job Type
Roughly half the respondents are senior management and above.
Executive Managers (e.g. Product managers, project managers, etc.) comprise a further quarter.
Strategists, Analysts and Consultants (by job title) make up the final quarter.
There was a very high proportion of senior respondents.
Respondent Profile – A Selection of Participating Respondent’s Organisations Senior representatives of many of the world’s leading Telcos and Partners took part.
