T
he choice of diagnostic
aids now available to
dentists has expanded
greatly with the latest
addition to the Acteon®
digital
imaging range, the X-Mind®
Trium.
Acteon is already well known for
its range of high-resolution Sopro
intra-oral cameras, advanced
low-dose X-Mind unity X-ray
generators, Sopix digital sensors
and PSPIX Phosphor Plate systems.
The new X-Mind Trium is a powerful
and comprehensive digital extra-oral
imaging system featuring Cone Beam
Computed Tomography (CBCT),
Panoramic and Cephalometric
acquisition capability.
X-Mind Trium takes the guesswork
out of diagnosis, providing rapid
and accurate images of anatomical
structures to assist with treatment
planning, case presentation and
patient education.
The extensive possibilities
of CBCT, Panoramic and
Cephalometric acquisition types,
combined with powerful and
intuitive Acteon Imaging Suite
make X-Mind Trium the
perfect tool for:
• Implant planning and
site development
• Oral-maxillofacial
surgery
• Orthodontics
• Endodontics
• Periodontics
• TMJ/TMD studies
X-Mind Trium is also
upgradable on-site,
increasing functionality
by adapting to the users
changing requirements.

following models:
• X-Mind Trium Pan
• X-Mind Trium Pan/3D
• X-Mind Trium Pan/Ceph
• X-Mind Trium Pan/CBCT/Ceph
Four selectable fields of view allow
the practitioner to select the correct
volume to reduce radiation exposure
to patients and focus on areas
of interest in the required detail
(40x40mm, 60x60 mm, 80x80mm
and 110x80mm).
These features ,along with
the thinnest 3D image slices
available on the market today
and the smallest voxel size
(75µm), allow accurate
evaluation of bone density
and the positioning of
anatomical structures.
The included, easy-to-use
Acteon Imaging Suite is packed
with features to aid with diagnosis
and treatment planning, such
as automated reporting and
performing complicated sinus
lift biomaterial calculations.
The 3D view allows the user
to navigate through the airways
or the mandibular nerve canal
as if using a virtual endoscope,
providing assurance when planning
complex procedures.
The new X-Mind Trium is available
from A-dec Australia.
