  1. 1. These broad-nosed lemurs have grey all over their furand have a distinctive blunt snout. They also havepowerful legs so they can jump really high.
  2. 2. Greater bamboo lemurs live in most Jungles and forestsin a island known as Madagascar. Madagascar is next toa country called Mozambique.
  3. 3. Of course Greater Bamboo Lemurs eat bamboo! Theyalso eat pith, shoots, leaves and buds.
  4. 4. A greater bamboo lemur gives birth to one baby in alifetime. Baby lemurs are about the size of a jam jarwhen they are born.
  5. 5. Because humans are cutting down the forests ofbamboo that the Greater bamboo lemurs live in. Theyneed bamboo to survive. There is also their predatorstrying to kill them. That is why there are very fewgreater bamboo lemurs left.
  6. 6. Greater bamboo lemurs threats are humans, but it’s non-human threat is a fusa. A fusa is a cat-like carnivore.
  7. 7. A Greater bamboo lemurs habitat is a forest of bambooplants. Greater bamboo lemurs need bamboo trees tolive in and eat. This habitat also has the righttemperature for them to survive. That is why they live inthis kind of habitat.
  8. 8. Greater bamboo lemurs spend most of their time intheir home, a bamboo tree. But sometimes greaterbamboo lemurs came down to the forest floor to travel.
