    • 10. NEVER OFFEND THE AUDIENCE
    • OFFEND THE AUDIENCE EITHER intentionally or unintentionally AND YOUR PRESENTATION IS AS GOOD AS OVER
    • 9. HAVE NO EGO
    • THIS JUST IN: YOU JUST MIGHT NOT BE THE rock star YOU THINK YOU ARE
    • 8. AVOID POLITICS AND RELIGION
    • UNLESS YOU ARE presenting about politics or religion, BE WARY OF VOICING AN OPINION ON EITHER
    • 7. AVOID PROFANITY
    • At best, YOU MIGHT DRAW A LAUGH At worst, IT CREATES A SENSE OF AWKWARDNESS WHERE PEOPLE WILL CRINGE
    • 6. NEVER PRESENT SOMEONE ELSE'S PRESENTATION
    • THERE WILL BE no story, YOU'LL BE UNPREPARED, AND YOU’LL LIKELY END UP reading the slides VERBATIM
    • 5. NEVER PRESENT FROM SOMEONE ELSE’S MACHINE
    • STUFF INSTALLED or missing FROM THAT MACHINE MIGHT KILL YOUR PRESENTATION
    • 4. DON'T LET ANYONE MAKEOVER YOUR SLIDES
    • TEMPLATES THAT don’t need applying FONTS THAT don’t need changing IMAGES THAT don’t need moving
    • 3. NEVER MOVE ROOM OR LOCATION
    • UNLESS YOUR ROOM IS UNINHABITABLE, avoid changing rooms AT THE LAST MINUTE
    • 2. NEVER MESS WITH PROFESSIONAL A/V EQUIPMENT
    • RELY INSTEAD ON A DEDICATED A/V TEAM, TO help you out
    • 1. NEVER FORGET YOUR PRESENTATION REMOTE
    • HAVING A GOOD PRESENTATION REMOTE ALLOWS BETTER INTERACTION WITH YOUR AUDIENCE AND WILL unchain you from the podium
