  3. 3. Our country is very rich in natural beauties, which with its variety of small area are the subject of tourism worldwide. In Bulgaria there is a sea, mountains, lakes and dams, waterfalls and caves that complement our rich cultural and historical heritage.
  4. 4. Bulgaria's history is extremely rich. The country has gone through many ups and downs since Asparoukh puts its foundation in 681.
  5. 5. Sofia is the capital and largest city in Bulgaria. It is located in western Bulgaria at the foot of Mount Vitosha, and is the administrative, industrial, transport and educational center of the country.
  6. 6. Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is the first higher educational institution. Its history is an embodiment and a continuation of centuries of cultural and educational tradition of the Bulgarian people.
  7. 7. The National Library of the Republic of Bulgaria is the largest library in the country and the oldest cultural institution in the post-liberation of Bulgaria.
