  14. 14. VIDEO:Testimonial from Clair Martin at IFAS Citrus Greening Seminar- Click HereIn the fall of 2010,Clair Martin, a citrus farmer in Ft. Myers, Fl observed several treesin his grove to have signs of possible “citrus greening."  He contacted the University ofFlorida Institute of Agriculture and Science (IFAS) Lee County Extension Office andspoke to Roy Beckford.  Clair explained his observations and asked Beckford to visitthe farm and inspect the trees.  Beckford inspected the farm shortly afterwards andobserved the farm to have Citrus Greening infestation.  Beckford recently recalled that"over 50% of the farmers grove had signs of citrus greening."  The signs were theclassic, yellowing of the leaves, fruit deformity, juice deficiency, and bitterness on anyjuice that was left.  Beckford, at the time, had just met a Tara Solutions representative.  Therepresentative had described Tara 14 and some of the other products that Tara uses toput health back in trees.  Beckford recommended that the Clair and Tara speak. Thegrove was treated once every 28 days for one year. During this time, IFAS conductedperiodic tests concerning overall plant health and monitoring of signs of greening. After the final tests were done- “...over 95% of the trees did not show symptoms ofgreening..”. Dr. Mongi Zekri of IFAS, along with Roy Beckford, conducted the tests. Property of Tara Solutions,LLC
