  • ELEMENTS OF MUSIC
  • NOTATION This section will help you revise the different ways of writing music down, called notation .
  • This is the Treble Clef
  • This is the Bass Clef
  • This is the stave Stave : a set of five horizontal lines used to visually represent musical notation.Also known as staff.
  • The notes on the treble clef look like this: You can remember the notes on the lines by the sentence Every Green Bus Drives Fast. The notes in the spaces spell the word FACE.
  • SHARPS AND FLATS
    • This is a sharp :
    - Sharp means "higher in pitch by a semitone (half step)" - When a note is sharpened it is raised . -You can find notes with a sharp right in front of them:
