  3. 3. Language Study <ul><li>AIMS: </li></ul><ul><li>‘Understand, analyse and evaluate non-fiction print text which conveys complex information.’ (Close Reading) </li></ul><ul><li>‘Compose a piece of writing in a particular genre.’ (Creative Writing) </li></ul>
  4. 4. NABS <ul><li>CLOSE READING: </li></ul><ul><li>- Understanding </li></ul><ul><li>- Analysis </li></ul><ul><li>- Evaluation </li></ul><ul><li>Out of 30 marks </li></ul><ul><li>PASS/FAIL (50% cut-off) </li></ul><ul><li>TWO chances to pass. </li></ul>
