  • 1. Zebras are one of the best known animals of Africa, home to a variety of ecosystems including grassy plains, savannas, wood landsor shrubs, mountains and coastal hills.
  • 2. The stripes are also at greater or lesser extent in the legs and the backs of donkeys and wild horses, and manifest more strongly in hybrids
  • 3. Zebras have a total of forty teeth, excellent eyesight and a great sense of hearing, and tend to have larger and rounded ears than horses.The average life expectancy of the zebras is about thirty
  • 4. Zebras communicate with each other with sharp barks and cries. Zebra ears indicate their mood. When a zebra is calm, tense or friendly, ears remain erect. When afraid, they move forward. Whenangered, the ears move back
